Joe Francis


Following Felixstowe & Walton’s Bostik North encounter away at Coggeshall on Saturday 20thApril, Joe Francis announced his retirement from non-league football. It was a decision he had considered taking a year earlier but had decided to carry on for one more year. There will be many people involved in football in East Anglia who will be aware of the great contribution Joe has made to the game. He will be missed both as a footballer and for his character and personality.

Under 7s v Brantham Athletic Under 7s

Under 7s manager Damian Richer was missing his joint manager Steve Pitts for the last home friendly of the season against Brantham Athletic so he requested the help of First Team manager Ian Watson and coach Stuart Stevenson. Both were more than happy to oblige despite having an away game at Coggeshall that afternoon.

No points for the Senior Teams

The First Team travelled to Coggleshall to lose 2-1 with Henry Barley the scorer for the Seasiders.  The Reserves held out until midway through the second half before succumbing to a 0-4 defeat at home to Diss Town.


KBB NEF Suffolk Premier Final Cup Details

Felixstowe & Walton United FC make their first ever appearance at Portman Road on Wednesday 8th May when we play Leiston in the final of the KBB NEF Suffolk Premier Cup.

The club are now able to release full match arrangements for the final.
