Guest Speaker announced for 32nd Sportsman's Dinner

The Club are delighted to announce Dean Saunders as main speaker for the Third Second Suffolk Sportsman's Dinner.

The former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker, who also won 75 caps for Wales before going into management, will be supported by top sports impressionist and comedian Mr Aaron James.

The event is to be held at the Orwell Hotel, Felixstowe on Thursday 9th April (Maundy Thursday)

Aveley Away Match Re-Arranged

The Isthmian League North fixture away at Aveley FC that was postponed from the original date of Saturday 11th January due to the hosts progression in the FA Trophy has been rearranged for Monday 20th January at 7.45pm


Jordy Matthews: 250+ appearances

After the home game against Basildon United on Saturday, Club Vice-Chairman Tony Barnes presented Jordy Matthews with a club certificate for having made 250 games plus for Felixstowe & Walton United.

The Dave Ashford Stand

Before Saturday’s home game against Basildon United, club Chairman Andy Wilding invited Dave Ashford’s daughter Alison to cut the ribbon at the Colneis Road end of the ground marking the new name of the seating behind the goal as The Dave Ashford Stand. It has been named such as a measure of thanks from the club to both Dave for his contribution to the club over the years and the appreciation the club would like to show to Alison and T4 Intelligent Infrastructure for the financial contribution they are making to the club.
