The latest results from the Juniors from last weekend

Boys U12s Reds v IVR

The new season arrived and we started with a home game at Dellwood.
The lads started the game at a good pace and tried to play our fast passing game right from the start. The visitors tried to stifle the play and hassled the midfield but we started to create chances and after going close a few times Joe got the opener with a good finish to go one up. Soon after coming on and making an impact straight away Teddy made it two.
H/T 2-0
Again from the whistle we started very well and after creating lots of chances Teddy made it 3 from the spot when Cameron was brought down in the box after a fantastic skilful run.
Fair play to IVR they never stopped working and got their reward with a goal to make it 3-1.
Our GK Harrison made two good saves to keep us in it and when we had to our solid defence held firm.
A good start to the season.
F/T 3/1

No league game today but we played our 2nd leg of a double headed friendly at HOME against Brantham, after winning the AWAY tie 2-1 (Archie/Isaac) we ran out 4-1 winners (Archie2/Jamie/Louis).

Under 12 Whites
A good performance by the Whites yesterday saw us draw 1 1 away to Brantham in a friendly. The boys started a little out of sorts with it being the start of the new season, new players and some positional changes.
It was pleasing to see new boys Hayden and Corey make their debuts with Corey getting his first goal to. Solid performances from Noah, Mathew, Stanley and Shay allowed us to compete well throughout the game. Whilst the 2 Reece's showed quality on the ball, the MOM award went to Kameron who was a tiger in the tackles.
Well done everyone !

EJA U16 1 v 6 Stowmarket. A strange game. We were 3-0 down at half time and could have actually been 3-0 up having created great chances and not taken them and also having gifted them 2 of their 3 goals. The 2nd half was much the same with great chances for us going begging and us gifting them 3 more goals. But that's what football at this standard is like and football in general. Got to put your chances away and stay resilient in keeping goals out.

Good start to the season for the Felixstowe under 8's Reds against Witnesham Wasps, After a few near misses Felixstowe got the upper hand with good individual goals and team goals scored by Finley and Oliver.
Felixstowe Goalkeeper Toby helped kept the half time score at 1-7.
Second half Witnesham came fighting back getting passed our keeper and scoring a couple of goals but Felixstowe responded when Charlie scored a cracking goal from the left side of the goal post. Then teammate Braydon joined in on the fun scoring his first goal of the season.
Final score 4-11. Well done Reds!

U8 Whites
Unfortunately Felixstowe under 8's Whites team didn't have a good game as the Reds, Witnesham scored in the first few minutes. Felixstowe played well working as a team, passing the ball but the ball just won't go in the net! Witnesham Goalkeeper saved a few good shots from Elliott and Anthony but eventually Elliott's determination got one passed the keeper. Half time score 3-1.
Second half Felixstowe kept Witnesham on their toes but they managed another goal resulting in final score 4-1.

U16's didn't have the start we were expecting, we had moments of great play but unfortunately this was not sustained with a final score 0-4 to Chantry Grasshoppers
