Tough Matches For U10s against Trimley

There were tough matches on Saturday morning at home to Trimley at Dellwood.

Reds lost a tight close encounter  2-1 after taking the lead through George midway through the first half. Trimley scored just before half time against the run of play to level things up. The second half was pretty even with both sides going close but it was Trimley who won it in the last minute when we failed to clear the ball and they poked in from close range. Good effort from the boys with their manager even saying a draw was fair result.

The whites battled well against a Trimley team with some first team boys in as they said they were short of players. The score was 2-2 with goals from Evan Zidane and Mason. They kept going while not playing at their fluent best and with two league games to go having only been beaten once is a tremendous effort. Callum was very lively up front and worked hard and Harry at the other end defended effectively.
