Junior Results From 26/27 January

Some of the Junior results from the weekend

U7’s welcomed Ipswich Exiles to Dellwood Av. The first game was a thrilling 3-3 draw, with goals from Finley Thrower(2) and Oli Durrant. Fine display from keeper, Ronnie Taylor.

In the second game, a new team and new score line. Young Seasiders won 5-1, with goals from Olivia Stockdale, Elliot Garnham and a hat-trick for Anthony Walne. For the second week in a row, Jordan Gilson had a solid display. Team definitely moving in right direction showing composure and fantastic attitude.

U11s Reds v Framingham in the 1/4 final Plate. Won 4-1

The boys again went on the road to a very very muddy Fram pitch even after the warm up the pitch was a mess and you couldn’t see the boys boots for mud but the boys attitude was it’s the same for both sides and got on with the game.

It started at a fast pace with Fram moving the ball around well and being on top for the first 10 minutes resulting in going one up, albeit an own goal with Harrison making a small mistake in goal. Harrison has kept us in games so many times, the boys knew this and as one they got on with the game as one team together.

The boys got their passing game going and pushed forward time and time again and were rewarded with an equaliser again the result of an own goal after a great cross from Nicolas. One of the Fram defenders unfortunately put it into his own goal.

Taking advantage of this the boys pressed on to go 2-1 up with a well taken goal from Teddy. The boys went on to play some great passing football in really tricky conditions in the second half to see out the game but still had to defend well at times with a fine save from Harrison showing what a great goalkeeper he is against a Fram side that never gave up. They went on to win 4-1 with goals from Joe Harper and a great finish from Charlie from a cross from Cameron.

A great game from Zak Hussain got him MOTM 🔴⚪🔴⚪

Under 11 Whites were superb against local rivals Trimley. Tight first half with both teams playing well. Reece Rose slotted home for the Seasiders after a well worked move. Trimley hit back to make it even at half time.

Felixstowe stepped it up after the break with Stanley and Sam running riot. Stanley grabbed 2 whilst Sam hit the 4th.

Great performance by the boys as we had no subs.

Noah, Kian, Mathew, Kameron,Alfie and Reece Goodchild were all awesome.

U12's reds away to IVR. We lost 6-2 score line does not reflect on the match and some questionable decisions by the ref on his debut. Goals from Connor & Ngutu. There's always next year.

U12 Whites

Plate Q/F Home vs Framlingham (div2)

Lost 3-0 to 3 goals in the first 10mins of madness. After that Stano and myself thought (as did the Fram Mgr) that we were the best side second half but again didn't take our chances so hats off to you boys for the effort.

MOTM GK Charley Newman but special mention to Isaac Smith and Callum Summers for great 2nd halfs.

U13 Reds away win 3-5 vs Copolstonians in the Q final of cup. 1-3 up at half time, went to 3-4 in second half but we killed the game with the 5th. Really good performance on a terrible pitch. Scorers - Asa Heron 2, Ellis Hurst 2, George Bussey 1. MOM - Ellis Hurst.

Under 14 Red 5-3 win v Trimey in plate Quarter final.

Goals: Bunting x 3, Gordon, Tey-Botchway - Man Of The Match: Matt Bunting
