Goals Galore in this week's Junior Weekend Roundup.

After seeing the First Teams Sam Ford and Jack Ainsley both net hat tricks in midweek in the 8-1 win at Long Melford the club’s Juniors said “Anything you can do, we can do better!”.
It was hat tricks galore for the young Seasiders as at least 9 boys and girls took home the matchball (not literally the junior treasurer hopes!) in a feast of football this weekend.
Felixstowe & Walton U8’s hosted Chantry Grasshoppers in a double header and in the coaches words below they both sounded thrilling to watch!
The Reds went up against a team of real class!  They were almost inseparable, trading blow for blow, but the deadlock was broken late in the first half with a 20 yard thunderbolt from Reuben.  1-0 at half time gave the reds the slight edge.  Throughout the 2nd half the boys played solid football and doubled their lead, again through Reuben.  It finished 2-0 and I have to say was one of the hardest and most entertaining games I’ve witnessed them play!
So to the u8’s whites game, again very even teams.  But early on due to Chantry’s constant pressure Felixstowe conceded 2 very quick goals.  What happened next was brilliant, the boys could’ve dropped their heads but instead they sparked into life and stepped up to the challenge.  Halftime finished 2-2 and by the final whistle F&W whites won 5-2!  Also all 5 goals were scored by Oliver K!!!  But please understand that even though he scored all the goals the chances were made by the hard work the team put in, they were all team goals which was the deciding factor between F&W and Chantry.  Well done everyone!

A Superb team performance from the Under 9 Whites saw them defeat Ipswich Valley Rangers 4-1 with a goal from Ned Ransome and a hat trick from Harley Todd which included an absolute peach of a freekick from distance. MOM went to Zack Day.
U9 Reds went narrowly down 4-5 to Ipswich Valley Rangers in a game of two halves. They started off really well and played some lovely football with Jake controlling the defence and Dawson scoring an absolute corker of a goal. Second half was a slow start and this allowed the visitors to play their game and we struggled to get hold of the ball. We came back into the game but it was a little bit too late.  MOTM JAKE morrish well done a brilliant first half performance. GOALS Arthur harrison 2, Dawson Coldwell 1, Henry Old  1.

Two unbeaten teams met on Saturday at Barham where the Under 10 Reds narrowly went down 2-1 after leading for most of the game to two late goals. Kasper scored the Felixstowe goal.
The Whites played the same team and came out 3-1 winners with Callum scoring a hatrick.

The Under 11 Reds played Kesgrave Kestrals. Teddy with scored with a low driven strike to the far corner early on but it wasn't enough to keep Kesgrave at bay. There were many chances for the reds in the second half, seeing them play some lovely passing and moving football but they couldn't finish the chances they created to end in a narrow 2-1 loss.

In a fantastic away local derby the U12 whites drew 4-4 , battling back from being 3-1 down at the break, going 4-3 up but letting in a late equaliser. The side had 2 chances to nick it the end, both hitting the cross bar! Scorers were Archie Dunne 2 (+assists), Oscar Titheridge-Phillips 2. MOTM-Archie Dunne

What a win for the U13 Reds.....a 16-0 away win!. Asa Heron with 6, Alfie Mundy 4, Oscar Girling 1, Mustafa Hussein 1, Luke Baker 1, Josh Dunning 1, Kyle Middleton 2, the opposition only had 10 and tried hard and battled, but the Seasiders were too strong especially with the extra man.

Goals from Bunting (2), Tey-Botchway and a hat trick from O'Callaghan helped the U14 Reds to a 6-0 victory against Framlingham. The visitors played with 10 men and despite battling well, the Reds were too good for them with the extra man.
The Under 14 Whites won 5-0 at Capel.
It was a great team display from start to finish. The coach thought the scoreline flatters the Whites slightly, but it was a disciplined, clinical performance. Goals from Zac x 2, Liam, Filip & a debut goal for Dionne to finish off a great morning of footy.

The U15s went down 3-2 at Framlingham. The first half saw 11 men and strong swirling winds against the side which gave Framlingham 2 wind assisted goals but the team battled to keep the score down. Second half the Seasiders got back on level terms and should have gone on to score more. Unfortunately we gave away a penalty to lose a game in that they should have taken the points.

On Sunday the U10 Girls won 4-2 versus Stowupland Falcons with an outstanding performance by everyone.  A Hatrick from Lula Brewer and a final goal from Lily Walker sealing the game for the Seasidettes.

Onto the U12 girls who entertained Capel at a mild Goldstar Ground, producing a cracking match that ended 2-2. Scorers for the Seasiders were Bridie and Eve.

It was a long trip to a very wet Brandon for the Under 13 Girls but a happy journey home after coming away with a 4-0 win. The coach thought the girls had played better, but still a good result. The win was more impressive due to the poor condition of the the pitch which had to be cleared of molehills before the game could start!

Back on the lush surface at Dellwood Avenue, U14 girls played AFC Sudbury.
After going 3-1 down, the Seasidettes can back superbly to win 6-3 with hat tricks from Dionne and Issy, who was also named Man of the match after being out for over a month through injury and banging in a hat trick in her first game back!

In the Eastern Junior Alliance, it was a crazy game at home against Newmarket  for the U15 boys. A closely fought first half resulted in a mad last 10 mins where the side switched off and found themselves 2-0 and one man down at the break. The 10 boys left on the pitch rolled up their sleeves... completely dominated the 2nd half,  pulled one back through Zack Bloomfield but just couldn't find the 2nd losing 2-1. The coach commented how he was extremely proud of them all.
