Preview- The Seasiders will be looking to extend their winning streak to 6 matches, a run that has seen them close the gap on the play-off places, with games in hand.

The Bridge currently sit in the second relegation spot, but secured a 2-2 draw with Bury Town on Wednesday and will feel disappointed not to have taken all 3 points after leading 2-0.

The sides met at a very foggy Lower Road back in September, Canfer, Hitter(2) and Ainsley helping the Seasiders to a 4-1 win with one of the best performances of the season to date.

The Seasiders will be without Josh Hitter who suffered ankle ligament damage in the victory over Hashtag last Saturday but are hopeful of securing a loan signing to provide cover in time for Saturdays game.

A crowd of 622 last Saturday and around 40 travelling supporters at Basildon on Tuesday reflects the positivity around the Goldstar Ground at the moment and the club are hoping for another sizeable crowd tomorrow to get behind the squad as they face a tricky battle against a side fighting to secure safety.
