Seasiders to host AFC Telford United in Buildbase FA Trophy

The Seasiders have been drawn at home to AFC Telford United in the Second Round Proper of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

The reward for Saturdays 2-1 victory against Peterborough Sports is a plum tie in the Second Round Proper as we will welcome AFC Telford United to the Goldstar Ground on Saturday 27th November.

'The Bucks' are members of the Vanarama National League North and were formed in 2004 after the demise of Telford United. They are currently 20th in the Step 2 division with 9 points from 13 games and reached the semi-finals of the FA Trophy as recently as 2018/19, Leyton Orient denying them a Wembley visit.

Club Joint Chairman Chris Daynes commented- "I'm absolutely delighted with the draw! We wanted a big home tie and this fits the bill perfectly with their rich history and big fanbase. We've got nothing to lose going into the tie and despite our injury crisis, we thoroughly deserved our win on Saturday and the fans who played their part in roaring us to the final whistle will be vital against Telford. Ticket prices have been held at normal league prices and we need the town to come out in force and pack the Goldstar for the biggest match in our history".

Ticket info- Cash turnstiles open on the day

Admission prices- Adults £10, Concession (65 & Over) £6, Accompanied U16's FREE.
